  This is a Christian church that has a great pastor. The sermon gave me a shot of "go live like God would be proud." Then the Lord's table was presented; I feel close to God and filled with His resolve when I take communion. Be Advised! This Lutheran Church still practices a closed communon - that is, if you are not Lutheran baptized, you can not take communion. Where does the Bible say "Eat this bread and drink this cup in remembrance of me only if you are part of the Lutheran sect." Churches that will not allow God's people to celebrate His teachings should post such information on the doors of the sanctuary. I have been served communion in a Catholic church. If history serves me correctly, Martin Luther established the Protestant (Anglican) branch of Christiantiy rebuking the one and only Christian church of the time, the Catholic Church, for its narrow mindedness. It would have been good to have had communion this morning. I really just believe your church should post a sign that notifies all who come that there is no communion for you unless.................. Maybe walking by a sign of that nature would soften hearts in your church to open their whole service to everyone?
